To ensure successful germination, follow these steps for cold, moist stratification:
- Mix the seeds with moist sand, peat moss, or vermiculite to help maintain moisture levels.

- Periodically check the moisture levels of the mix and add more water as necessary.
- Keep the seeds in the fridge for the recommended time, which can vary from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the plant species.
- After the recommended period, remove the seeds from the fridge, plant them, and keep the soil consistently moist until the seeds germinate.
