100+ Mix Campanula Bellflowers Seeds offer an effective perennial option with large bell-shaped flowers ranging from 2-3" (6-8 cm) in diameter. These flowers are most advantageous when planted in groups, flower beds, and alpine slides. Campanula are light-loving and drought-resistant plants that prefer light, moderately moist soils. Prior to opening, the bright blue, white, and pink flowers are inflated into faceted balloons, similar to small lanterns, which, when combined with the already opened flowers, create a fantastic visual display.

The preparation of the seeds is a crucial step in the planting process, as the result depends greatly on how the seeds are prepared. It is recommended to sow the seeds indoors 6 to 10 weeks before the expected last date of spring frost. Sprinkle the seeds on a well-drained potting medium in pots or beds with a pH of 5.5 to 5.8. Importantly, the seeds should not be covered, as covering Canterbury bells seeds will inhibit their germination - the critical stage where the embryonic roots develop.

To aid the germination process, place the seeds in 10 to 100 foot candles of light. This low-light level, similar to that found on a window sill or through a glass patio door (which can range from 100 to 5,000 foot candles depending on latitude, time of year, and the direction of the light), is essential for successful germination. Maintain a consistent temperature between 65 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit throughout this process.

To achieve the best germination rate, it is recommended to maintain the seeds at an even temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit for four days. During this time, keep the potting mix and seeds moist but not soggy. With proper care, the seeds should germinate within 14 to 21 days.
